About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare opportunity briefs and business cases
  • Analyze and document business needs and processes (current and target)
  • Define business requirements and proposed solutions
  • Develop solution scenarios, analyze impacts, and recommend an option
  • Participate in defining the business architecture (target vision)
  • Produce the following deliverables:
  • - Business processes and models
  • - Use cases, personas, user stories
  • - Executive summaries and analytical deliverables
  • - Estimates of costs, effort, and timelines
  • Participate in knowledge transfer
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and their compliance with expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT or business administration
  • Minimum 4 years as a business architect / intermediate advisor
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • - Opportunity briefs and business cases
  • - Requirements analysis and modeling
  • - Large-scale engagements (≥ 500 person-days)
  • Experience in a Quebec government environment (strong asset; often required in practice)
  • Knowledge of frameworks: BABOK, digital transformation, project management
  • Ability to deliver in fixed-price engagements (manage effort relative to deliverables)
  • Excellent communication in French
  • Autonomy, rigor, and strong analytical skills
