About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain SQL Server databases
Ensure data security, integrity, availability, and performance
Document and create physical data models when required
Update database tables and objects as needed
Write installation guides, procedures, and other relevant documentation
Perform proofs of concept and prototyping as needed
Support high-availability mechanisms, including AlwaysOn
Collaborate on activities aimed at facilitating migration to the cloud.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 8 years of experience as a development or maintenance analyst working with a relational DBMS
At least 5 years of experience with SQL Server
Familiarity with SQL Server versions 2012, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022
Knowledge of synchronous replication features (AlwaysOn) for SQL Server 2012 and later
Participation within the last 3 years in a project migrating SQL Server databases to the cloud
Experience administering databases in a cloud environment
Experience with Microsoft Azure is an asset
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
