About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop BackEnd services in Python under supervision;
Troubleshoot and fix BackEnd application issues;
Participate in the development or integration of REST APIs;
Take part in unit testing and integration testing;
Support application maintenance activities;
Contribute to technical documentation;
Apply development standards and best practices;
Collaborate with senior developers, analysts, and architects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 to under 8 years of experience in IT roles
Experience in Python development
Knowledge of REST APIs and databases
Interest in cloud environments and DevOps
Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team
Rigour in testing, documentation, and code quality
Python, REST APIs and BackEnd services
Git or equivalent version control tools
Unit testing and integration testing
Basic knowledge of databases
BackEnd development best practices
Python 3.11 or later, FastAPI or a comparable framework
Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus
Cosmos DB, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Basic understanding of microservices
Contract assignment or resource pool, depending on client needs
Primarily remote work; availability to coordinate interventions as required
