About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The selected candidate will play a key role in developing and managing client accounts, building long-term relationships and identifying business opportunities, particularly within technology, engineering and digital transformation projects.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients (5 to 8 strategic accounts)
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers (IT, projects, innovation)
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities before requests for proposals are published
  • Understand clients’ challenges, needs and priorities
  • Plan and carry out regular activities (meetings, calls, follow-ups)
  • Position TEHORA’s services strategically
  • Collaborate with bid teams to prepare responses to RFPs
  • Participate in client presentations and negotiate opportunities
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of commercial activities (CRM)
  • Contribute to growing the opportunity pipeline
  • Represent TEHORA at events and networking activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in business development or account management
  • Experience in a professional services firm (IT, engineering or consulting)
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong ability to build and maintain business relationships
  • Proactive, autonomous and results-oriented
  • Good understanding of technology environments
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written); English is an asset
  • Preferred knowledge / assets:
  • Experience with public-sector clients (municipal, government)
  • Knowledge of procurement and bidding processes (SEAO, MERX, etc.)
  • Network of contacts in IT, engineering or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience selling professional services
  • Familiarity with data environments, IoT or digital transformation
  • Proficiency with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce or equivalent)
