About the role

  • Carry out and supervise forest inventories and field surveys in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Validate, analyze and structure collected data.
  • Perform digitization and geospatial data processing in GIS environments (ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Prepare technical reports, produce maps, and perform analyses that meet contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables.
  • Participate in the planning and organization of project-related activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering or a related field.
  • Active, in-good-standing membership with the Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec (OIFQ) (mandatory).
  • Proficiency with GIS tools (ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) in a professional setting.
  • Excellent written communication skills for producing technical documents.
  • Proven ability to work independently while working remotely.
  • Rigor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
