About the role

  • We are seeking a legal professional to serve as a Senior Lawyer specializing in Compliance and Data Protection, also acting as the company's Data Protection Officer (DPO).
  • Corporate Compliance
  • Manage and improve internal compliance and governance policies.
  • Prevent, detect and respond to ethical and regulatory risks.
  • Conduct internal investigations and inquiries arising from reports received through the Ethics Channel (Whistleblower Hotline), ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.
  • Prepare conclusive reports and recommendations for Committees and the Board.
  • Data Protection and DPO
  • Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO), serving as the point of contact for the ANPD and data subjects.
  • Implement and monitor privacy and information security policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the LGPD and related regulations.
  • Strategic Legal Advisory
  • Support internal areas on compliance, privacy and governance matters.
  • Draft legal opinions, contracts and clauses related to data protection and corporate ethics.
  • Participate in trainings and awareness campaigns.

Requirements

  • Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Experience managing and responding to a Whistleblower Channel and conducting corporate investigations, handling reports and related processes.
  • Experience managing Compliance programs and trainings; drafting, reviewing and maintaining internal policies, codes of conduct and compliance programs.
  • Experience as a DPO or responsible for LGPD in companies.
  • Solid knowledge of the LGPD, corporate compliance, governance and business ethics — familiarity with regulatory standards and privacy best practices.
  • Ability to prepare executive reports, legal opinions and recommendations for committees and senior leadership.
  • Certifications in Compliance, LGPD or Privacy are a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a consultative and strategic manner, supporting different business areas.
  • Ability to deliver trainings and awareness activities on compliance, ethics and privacy.
  • Ethical, discreet and analytical profile with excellent communication, critical thinking and autonomy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters, ensuring confidentiality, impartiality and integrity in decision-making.
  • Familiarity with KPIs and Excel.
  • Availability to work in São Bernardo do Campo — hybrid, with 3 days onsite per week.
