About the role
- Lead mid to large-size projects that span multiple disciplines
- Work with clients, product manufacturers, contractors, and other design team members to take each project from start to finish
- Provide detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and reporting information to the client
- Delegate work effectively and promote teamwork
- Mentor less senior staff
- Participate in the in-house training program and mentor junior designers
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of six years of discipline (physical security, electronic security systems) design for facilities construction projects
- Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Experience with Bluebeam Studio
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and G Suite
- EIT is a plus
- Certifications such as CDT, PSP and/or CPP
