Key responsibilities & impact- Own modeling strategy, coordination workflows, and delivery quality across assigned projects
- Deliver advanced modeling, drawing development, coordination, documentation, and early engineering support
- Produce coordinated Revit models, drawings, calculations, specifications, product evaluations, and technical documentation
- Manage model health, including links, worksets, families, warnings, view templates, and model organization
- Run and interpret clash tests in Navisworks or ACC and drive cross-discipline resolution
- Lead modeling, documentation, BIM coordination, clash reviews, and model aggregation across moderate to complex scopes
- Estimate workload, sequence deliverables, manage priorities, and provide input on resource needs and scope impacts
- Participate in project, discipline, engineering, production, and coordination meetings
- Identify risks early, resolve modeling and documentation issues, and escalate complex conflicts
- Maintain task tracking, project documentation, GitHub updates, Pull Requests, and accurate time and expense entries
- Support site visits, existing-conditions verification, product research, technical evaluations, and specification development
- Refine templates, views, tools, families, and shared content to improve production workflows
- Provide day-to-day modeling, documentation, and coordination guidance to Designer I and Designer II team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent technical or field experience
- 4+ years of experience in the AEC industry
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects
- Exposure to coordination processes or field-related activities
- Experience leading BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution
- Ability to maintain model health at a senior production level, including workset management, view template application, warning resolution, and model cleanup
- Ability to maintain coordinated models, produce accurate drawings with minimal oversight, and resolve production issues independently
- Solid technical understanding of technology systems and engineering principles
- Ability to perform calculations, conduct product research, and contribute to design development with limited guidance
- Strong organizational and communication skills and ability to manage workloads across several projects
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- TEECOM is unable to sponsor visas
- Industry certifications including EIT, CDT, CTS (AV), RCDD, PSP/CPP, and PE are preferred but not required
