About the role
- Mid-level Designer II role focusing on Revit production and building virtual construction
- Support or manage documenting design contract from construction documents through record drawings
- Opportunity to choose discipline to specialize in and receive mentorship
- Receive hands-on Revit training and shadow senior staff
- Attend client meetings, prepare meeting notes, assist with specs and design calculations
- Assist with site inspections and delegated tasks from senior staff
- Document and maintain team processes and workflows; contribute to internal documentation
- Ensure timesheets/expenses accurate and meet billed revenue targets
Requirements
- Proficient in Revit and basic understanding of one or more disciplines
- Familiarity with Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
- Experience with Bluebeam Studio is a plus
- Knowledge of G Suite and Microsoft Suite
- BS in Engineering (electrical preferred) or equivalent experience
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- EIT and CDT certifications are a plus
- Strong organization, documentation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prepare Revit models/AutoCAD drawings, specifications, and design calculations
- Ability to attend client meetings, take notes, and perform job site inspections
- Willingness to be mentored and receive delegated production tasks
