About the role
- Ensuring timely procurement of service materials
- Responsible for the disposition of relevant items according to requirements, including demand and inventory planning
- Monitoring delivery dates, dunning processes (payment reminders), and reviewing order confirmations
- Participating in the optimization of procurement processes
- Preparing product and quotation requests, including quote comparisons
- Preparing and conducting price negotiations
- Checking incoming invoices
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification
- Ideally several years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement
- Technical and commercial understanding as well as negotiation skills
- Independent, solution-oriented and structured working style with a hands-on mentality
- Confident user of MS Office and ideally experienced with ERP systems
- Good written and spoken English skills
