About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work hands-on in the development of web features, backend, mobile and integrations;
Demonstrate critical thinking and proactivity to contribute to building solutions;
Develop and maintain applications using PHP/Laravel and MySQL;
Help evolve current frontends to more modern architectures using React;
Contribute to mobile initiatives using React Native;
Support the definition and enforcement of technical standards for code, structure, testing, APIs and documentation;
Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to less experienced developers;
Support architectural decisions together with technical leadership and Product;
Identify and reduce technical debt that impacts stability, productivity and scalability;
Improve performance of applications, APIs and databases;
Support integrations with internal and external systems and data platforms;
Contribute to improvements in deployment, versioning, CI/CD and monitoring;
Participate in incident analysis, critical bugs and production issues;
Work closely with Product, Data, DevOps and Business teams;
Ensure technical evolution happens incrementally, sustainably and value-driven.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with PHP and Laravel;
Experience with relational databases, primarily MySQL;
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS;
Knowledge of React and React Native;
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs;
Knowledge of Git, code review and versioning best practices;
Experience with Docker;
Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines;
Solid experience in software development:
Ability to analyze production issues and propose structured solutions;
Experience providing technical guidance to other developers;
Strong understanding of architecture, quality, security and system maintainability;
Ability to work in a product environment with continuous evolution and business-driven priorities.
**Nice to have**
Knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Firebase or similar);
Knowledge of Azure or DigitalOcean;
Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, intelligent agents/automations and integration with AI APIs;
Knowledge of automated testing with PHPUnit, Jest or similar;
Experience with queues, asynchronous jobs and background processing;
Knowledge of Redis, caching, query optimization and performance tuning;
Experience with observability, logging, metrics and tracing;
Prior experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures;
Experience with SaaS products, B2B/B2C platforms or transactional systems.
