About the role

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions in the ABAP Cloud environment.
  • Utilize the RAP model and technologies associated with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design scalable extensions and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain applications in ABAP Cloud using RAP, CDS Views, and OData Services.
  • Create extensions and customizations in S/4HANA Cloud following SAP recommended standards.
  • Integrate SAP with external systems via REST APIs, events, and BTP services.
  • Participate in the analysis of technical and functional requirements, proposing innovative and scalable solutions.
  • Implement unit tests and support QA teams in integrated testing.
  • Ensure compliance with the constraints and best practices of the ABAP Cloud environment.
  • Document technical solutions and integration flows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of ABAP development experience, with at least 1 year in ABAP Cloud or S/4HANA Cloud.
  • Proficiency in RAP, CDS Views, OData Services, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of extensibility in SAP Cloud (In-App and Side-by-Side).
  • Experience with integrations using SAP BTP.
  • Experience working in projects with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 for integration with ABAP Cloud.
  • SAP ABAP Cloud or SAP BTP certification.
  • Intermediate to advanced English.
