About the role

  • Develop and maintain mainframe applications using HPNS and COBOL
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in mainframe development
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and services
  • Stay updated with the latest mainframe technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in mainframe development with HPNS and COBOL
  • Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and batch processing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with JCL and DB2 (Preferred)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Preferred)
