About the role
- Work in data engineering within an AWS environment, designing, developing and maintaining scalable pipelines and robust solutions with a focus on performance, data integrity and information governance.
- Responsible for applying best practices in Glue Development, integrating multiple data sources and collaborating with data science and analytics teams to ensure consistent, high-quality information flows.
- Contribute to the documentation and continuous optimization of enterprise data architectures.
- Design, develop and implement data engineering solutions on AWS.
- Apply best practices in Glue Development across integrations and pipelines.
- Create and maintain scalable data pipelines for large volumes of information.
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to meet technical and business requirements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through continuous testing and validation.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of existing solutions.
- Document processes, flows and data solutions to ensure continuity and transparency.
Requirements
- Completed or in-progress degree in Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related fields.
- Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on AWS.
- Solid knowledge of Glue Development and its best practices.
- Familiarity with ETL and data integration tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
