About the role

  • Leads team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects across the OUC Technology Division.
  • Tracking, managing, and coordinating projects across the OUC Information Technology Division.
  • Support the CIO in planning, execution, and reporting for a broad range of IT initiatives.
  • Provide analytical support and performance monitoring across IT domains.
  • Tracks project and operational related systemic issues and supports analysis and solutions with SMEs.
  • Provide project coordination and support activities for enterprise IT systems including telephony, CAD, radio, call floor, networking, and application services.
  • Support planning of long and short-range projects for systems development, maintenance, upgrades, and IT-Services activities.
  • Track and monitor project progress against milestones, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate assessments of technical and operational practices for upgrades and changes.
  • Research and plan new and emerging technologies to support modernization of OUC-IT systems.
  • Gather information and performance data on IT performance for IT leadership.
  • Participate in IT budget planning and forecasting.
  • Maintain program documentation including project plans, timelines, requirements, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Monitor, track, and report on performance metrics for the IT department.
  • Coordinate with vendors and District Stakeholders for maintenance and upgrades.
  • Coordinate status updates for enterprise-wide initiatives including infrastructure upgrades, call floor systems, network monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate deployment of hardware and applications including installation, configuration, testing, and user support.
  • Use ServiceNow to open, track, update, and close service tickets.
  • Support IT asset management by tracking and maintaining inventory of hardware and software.
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned activities on the 911/311 call floor, including workstation checks, software update testing, troubleshooting, escalation of major glitches, and end user IT support.

Requirements

  • Must be able to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Candidates must have 6-10 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience; or a current PMP Certification
