Program Manager

• Lead senior level public sector stakeholder engagement for techUK’s Public Services Board, ensuring monthly access to high-level decision makers in government.
• Liaise with the Chair and Vice Chair of PSB to support the smooth running of the monthly meeting.
• Support the development, commissioning and publication of at least one PSB report per year.
• Organise 2 PSB stakeholder dinners a year and a unique member excursion for learning and development purposes.
• Coordinate activities with other public sector facing member-led committees, and plan at least one cross programme activity.
• Raise the public profile of the PSB through media engagement and public facing events.
• Liaise with other techUK teams to identify and exploit cross-fertilisation opportunities with other programmes within techUK.
• Deputise for the Associate Director, Central Government and Education in their absence as requested.
• Any other duties that might from time to time be required by the Associate Director, Central Government and Education and the techUK leadership team.

Senior Programme Manager – Public Sector Engagement

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Manage the escrow administration for techUK.
• Assist the Finance Team in maintaining the accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
• Maintain accurate data on CRM and excel workbook.
• Send quotes for annual renewals.
• Process escrow monthly renewals on CRM.
• Raise and issue sales invoices and credit notes.
• Posting daily cash and credit card receipts and reconcile.
• Maintain accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable ledger.
• Send reminders for purchase invoices, expenses and credit card approvals.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations.

Finance Assistant

Robotics

• Support the wider team to deliver a successful programme of activity and engagement with techUK members, key stakeholders, and the wider technology and innovation sector.
• Build upon techUK’s soon-to-be-released Robotics report.
• Work closely with the Head of Emerging Technology to deliver a regular drumbeat of varied activity and range of outputs that add value for techUK’s members and stakeholders.
• Include member meetings, events and campaign weeks to showcase world-leading innovations, technologies or industries.
• Develop and support the creation of the Robotics programme as well as support horizon scanning and future gazing work.
• Deliver techUK’s annual Tech & Innovation Summit.

Junior Programme Manager – Emerging Technologies and Robotics

• Assist with the development, implementation and communication of techUK activities to deliver value for member companies
• Assist in co-managing the Security and Public Safety SME Forum in collaboration with the National Security Programme
• Support the development, implementation and management of the programme's work in the law enforcement, fire and rescue, and justice sectors, developing expertise in areas such as emerging technology, law enforcement data challenges, victim support and more
• Assist with the set-up and execution of in-person and virtual events, briefings and meetings
• Promote techUK activities through written insights, social media engagement and PR activities
• Coordinate with the team to bring new companies into techUK membership
• Liaise with other techUK teams to identify collaboration opportunities
• Facilitate the management of relevant techUK forums and working groups alongside the JES Programme Manager, maintaining liaison with group members
• Deputise for the Justice and Emergency Services Programme Manager in their absence and any other duties that might from time to time be required by the Head of Programme and the techUK Justice and Emergency Services Team
