About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with client stakeholders across business functions to identify data needs, KPI definitions, and reporting objectives.
Translate business problems into structured data use cases, defining the questions that analytics and BI deliverables must answer.
Perform data profiling and validation to assess data quality and flag issues for data engineering and architecture teams.
Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI) that communicate findings to executive and operational stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between client business units, TechTorch delivery managers, and technical data teams.
Collaborate with data engineers and architects on source-to-target mappings and conceptual data model reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
3–4 years of relevant experience, ideally gained at a management consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, or equivalent) or a professional services organization specializing in data.
Demonstrable experience on business intelligence, data visualization, or AI-adjacent delivery projects.
Proficiency in data visualization tools: Tableau and/or Power BI required.
Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation.
Understanding of data modeling concepts: conceptual and physical models, dimensional hierarchies, aggregation logic, and data quality frameworks.
Familiarity with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, AWS) and how they fit into a modern data stack.
