About the role
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and systems
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly solutions
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle
- Design, code, and maintain both front-end and back-end components
- Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application features
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and participate in peer code reviews
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
- Work within Agile teams and participate in daily standups and sprint planning
- Ensure security and compliance standards are implemented and maintained
- Respond to change management requests
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Angular or React frameworks
- Knowledge of front-end development principles and responsive design
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is an advantage
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced, secure federal environments
