About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work within agile, cross-functional squads on strategic digital transformation challenges for a large bank, focused on investments and wealth management
Responsible for developing web and/or service test automation scripts
Prepare and review documentation for automated test projects
Identify defects
Report execution status, defects and blockers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with manual testing and its technical approaches (black-box, white-box)
Test automation using Java and test-support frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, Extent Report, etc.)
REST APIs using the REST Assured library
Web Services using SOAP UI
Good development practices and practical knowledge of SOLID principles
Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Issue tracking tool (Jira)
Strong communication skills to report activity status and bugs found in tested artifacts
Non-functional testing (performance) using JMeter
Technical or product documentation using Confluence
Intermediate English for occasional written or spoken communication with international teams
CTFL certification (nice to have)
Experience with unit testing (nice to have)
Experience with the Jira plugin "Zephyr" (nice to have)
Basic knowledge of SAST tools (Veracode) (nice to have)
Knowledge of C# (nice to have)
Knowledge of Design Patterns (nice to have)
