About the role

  • Provide analytical expertise in support of the ICE Interoperability Response Center (IRC)
  • Conduct analysis, screening, and related support activities in response to interoperability queries generated upon fingerprint matches
  • Make database and manual queries on individuals referred to the PERC by other Law Enforcement Agencies
  • Answer calls from Law Enforcement Agencies and log all information into a web-based case management system
  • Work cases to be referred to an ERO Officer/Agent, ERO field offices or ICE headquarters for follow-up review and action
  • Perform shift work to support 24/7 operations, including some weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
  • Follow assigned shift schedule (Day 06:00-14:30, Swing 14:00-22:30, Night 22:00-06:30) and be hired to specific shifts
  • Hybrid work arrangement with one on-site day and four remote days

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related experience (desired)
  • Associate’s Degree with three years of related experience
  • High School degree and five years of related experience (required)
  • Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs
  • Experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data
  • Ability to review files and perform detailed analytical and research support services
  • Ability to work independently and to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments
  • Law enforcement experience or experience in interpreting and applying immigration law (preferred)
  • Experience in utilizing DHS and legacy INS databases (desirable)
  • Must be able to meet all security eligibility requirements
  • Satisfactory proof of legal right to work in the United States as a US Citizen
  • An active TS or CBP/ICE Public Trust clearance is required.
