About the role
- Provide analytical expertise in support of the ICE Interoperability Response Center (IRC)
- Conduct analysis, screening, and related support activities in response to interoperability queries generated upon fingerprint matches
- Make database and manual queries on individuals referred to the PERC by other Law Enforcement Agencies
- Answer calls from Law Enforcement Agencies and log all information into a web-based case management system
- Work cases to be referred to an ERO Officer/Agent, ERO field offices or ICE headquarters for follow-up review and action
- Perform shift work to support 24/7 operations, including some weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
- Follow assigned shift schedule (Day 06:00-14:30, Swing 14:00-22:30, Night 22:00-06:30) and be hired to specific shifts
- Hybrid work arrangement with one on-site day and four remote days
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related experience (desired)
- Associate’s Degree with three years of related experience
- High School degree and five years of related experience (required)
- Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs
- Experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data
- Ability to review files and perform detailed analytical and research support services
- Ability to work independently and to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments
- Law enforcement experience or experience in interpreting and applying immigration law (preferred)
- Experience in utilizing DHS and legacy INS databases (desirable)
- Must be able to meet all security eligibility requirements
- Satisfactory proof of legal right to work in the United States as a US Citizen
- An active TS or CBP/ICE Public Trust clearance is required.
