About the role

  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiting Leads to gain a comprehensive understanding of TechOp’s hiring needs for each position
  • Meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
  • Develop job descriptions
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent
  • Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
  • Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies
  • Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and/or in-person), and administers appropriate assessments, reference checking, makes recommendations for hire (or no hire)
  • Draft and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings
  • Uses online resources to source and identify potential candidates that meet specific requirements and experience
  • Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with Hiring Managers, transfer offer letter/new hire documents, transfer of security documents, etc.
  • Follows up with candidates and Hiring Managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.)
  • Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy
  • Standardizes position descriptions for various positions/portfolios
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 2-3 years of experience in recruiting required
  • Experience in federal contracting recruiting highly desired
  • Working knowledge of the recruiting life cycle
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Experience handling multiple positions/portfolios
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet searches
  • Working knowledge of using an Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience working with job board databases to find qualified candidates, HR software, databases, and management systems
  • Proven experience conducting various types of interviews
