About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for leading and managing 3 to 6 distribution yards across North America.
- Responsible for inventory management and expected to develop specific strategies for each site to help further market penetration of Techo-Bloc products.
- Work directly with Sales to align company goals and expectations, thus creating an appealing destination for Techo-Bloc customers.
- Required to travel regularly to each of the locations they oversee, visiting each location approximately every month.
- Be accountable for all activities at each site and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Distribution Operations Manager.
- Ensure all employees are properly trained and have the resources needed.
- Manage time off requests and schedules.
- Perform quarterly reviews of the Yard Coordinators.
- Develop a travel schedule that will be approved by the Distribution Operations Manager.
- Prepare, manage and maintain detailed reports of site visits.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school Diploma or Equivalent; and five to seven years related experience and/or training.
- Driver’s License
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, clients, customers, and the public.
- Knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software; database software and contract management systems.
