About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for leading and managing 3 to 6 distribution yards across North America.
Responsible for inventory management and expected to develop specific strategies for each site to help further market penetration of Techo-Bloc products.
Work directly with Sales to align company goals and expectations, thus creating an appealing destination for Techo-Bloc customers.
Required to travel regularly to each of the locations they oversee, visiting each location approximately every month.
Be accountable for all activities at each site and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Distribution Operations Manager.
Ensure all employees are properly trained and have the resources needed.
Manage time off requests and schedules.
Perform quarterly reviews of the Yard Coordinators.
Develop a travel schedule that will be approved by the Distribution Operations Manager.
Prepare, manage and maintain detailed reports of site visits.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school Diploma or Equivalent; and five to seven years related experience and/or training.
Driver’s License
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, clients, customers, and the public.
Knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software; database software and contract management systems.
