About the role
- Remote and onsite user support and assistance
- Daily systems maintenance and performance checks
- Backup checks and remediation
- Desktop device installation, configuration and support
- Liaison with 3rd party vendors
- Travelling to client sites to provide technical assistance
Requirements
- Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 IT Support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, and applications, networking, general software and hardware, and Active Directory
- Installation and configuration of PCs, thin clients, servers and network equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong customer focused approach
- A strong work ethic
- A great team player
- A positive "can do" attitude
- Diploma or higher level study in ICT recommended.
