About the role
- Lead ad sales for newly launched B2B newsletters, connecting advertisers with highly engaged audiences.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and grow accounts.
- Sell ad space in newsletters to new and existing clients and develop tailored proposals.
- Build a deep understanding of each newsletter’s audience to position it effectively.
- Collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, and Editorial to ensure smooth campaign execution and renewals.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends and use insights to shape sales strategy.
- Grow accounts into broader, multi-product partnerships across TechnologyAdvice’s media and demand gen ecosystem.
- Opportunity to expand client relationships across lead generation, sponsored content, and digital advertising.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in media sales, digital advertising, or newsletter sponsorships.
- Track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communicator with a knack for relationship-building.
- Comfortable selling both pre-packaged and custom solutions.
- Passion for newsletters, digital media, and helping clients win.
- Strategic thinker who understands how to sell based on audience alignment and campaign objectives.
- Agile professional who thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire and maintain authorization; employer will not sponsor work visas.
