About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently perform material acquisition planning, inventory control, procedure development, and department-related training activities
  • Participate in process improvements aimed at optimizing operations and reducing costs
  • Implement vessel inventory management processes by developing procedures, action plans, and follow-up meeting schedules
  • Develop and issue procedures related to Materials Planning
  • Conduct system training for onshore and offshore personnel on material and service requisition creation, purchase order tracking, material receipt, item withdrawals, and returns
  • Issue emergency purchase and service requisitions when required
  • Ensure completion of material and service procurement processes from request initiation through delivery using computerized systems such as INFOR EAM
  • Provide data, reports, cost analyses, and other information to support decision-making
  • Strengthen collaboration between internal departments to promote standardization, reduce lead times, and optimize costs
  • Maintain accurate control spreadsheets and databases to support data integrity and continuous process improvement
  • Support creation, issuance, and analysis of KPIs for the Materials Planning area
  • Interact with international professionals visiting the Spoolbase facility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics Technology, Production Management Technology, or related fields
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency
  • Experience with materials planning, inventory management, procurement processes, and KPI analysis
  • Knowledge of ERP and asset management systems, preferably INFOR EAM
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Willingness to work at the Spoolbase facility
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required
  • Ability to interact with international professionals visiting the facility
