About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of hydraulic systems and launch equipment onboard
Lead and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities on hydraulic, mechanical, and associated launch-system equipment
Troubleshoot hydraulic system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Coordinate and support inspections, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of hydraulic circuits, valves, pumps, actuators, accumulators, and related components
Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous-improvement initiatives
Provide technical leadership and guidance to Launch System Technicians and Tower Technical Operators
Collaborate with PLC Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to diagnose equipment issues and implement technical solutions
Ensure maintenance activities comply with company procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Monitor spare parts, consumables, and critical hydraulic-component inventory
Maintain maintenance records, technical documentation, and equipment history in the Maintenance Management System

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical Degree in Electrical, Electrotechnical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Electromechanical disciplines
Active CFT registration
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred
Intermediate English proficiency
Experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance systems
Experience leading technical teams and coordinating maintenance activities
Knowledge of failure analysis, operational safety, and continuous-improvement methodologies
Experience with pipelay operations and subsea line launch systems preferred
Offshore experience preferred
Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems preferred
