About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate ROV systems during inspection, intervention, and subsea construction support activities.
- Control manipulators, cameras, sensors, and specialized tools during operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ROV equipment.
- Prepare, configure, and test systems prior to operations, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Monitor and record technical operational data.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and propose technical solutions during operations.
- Configure and calibrate sensors, navigation systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Strictly comply with health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and environmental initiatives.
- Identify and report risks, non-conformities, and unsafe conditions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma with Technical Certification in: Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Electrical/Electronic Technology
- Electrotechnics
- Industrial Automation
- Electromechanics
- Mechatronics
- Active CFT registration.
- Experience and/or knowledge of XLX Forum ROV systems.
- Intermediate English skills preferred.
- Availability to work offshore.
