About the role
- Support the development of data analyses and models for well-defined problems.
- Collect, clean, and prepare data for analyses and modeling.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and opportunities.
- Implement basic statistical or machine learning models with guidance from the team.
- Assist in evaluating and validating models and results.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate insights clearly.
- Document code, analyses, and lessons learned following team standards.
- Collaborate with more experienced data scientists, data engineering, and business teams.
- Learn and apply data science best practices, ethics, and responsible data use.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in data science or analytics, with knowledge of Python (or R) and SQL.
- Desirable: knowledge of AWS Cloud Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Basic understanding of machine learning applied to simple problems.
