About the role

  • Researching, reviewing, drafting, organizing, and analyzing legal issues related to the topics assigned
  • Preparing legal templates for global use within the company
  • Developing training materials or document SOPs
  • Building relationships across the Legal function and other corporate and business functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization;
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to policies and procedures that will reduce the administrative burden on customers while ensuring the accuracy of data/information being gathered

Requirements

  • Law student who has completed your first year of law school with a minimum 3.2 GPA (3.5+ GPA strongly preferred), unofficial transcript required.
  • Must be able to work 15-20 hours a week.
  • Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent written (writing sample required) and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to effectively interface with various internal and external parties, including management, suppliers, and customers.
  • Previous work experience in an office (or similar) environment required.
  • Capable of executing tasks independently and are proactive in seeking assistance and guidance, when needed.
  • Can maintain and respect the company’s confidentiality requirements.
  • Demonstrate a high level of maturity, independent judgment, adaptability, and professionalism, including an ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment with ever-changing priorities.
  • Possess a superior attention to detail with a strong work ethic and a drive for high quality work product.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
