About the role
- Responsible for fostering new developments
- Act as a knowledge disseminator and ensure the quality, safety, and costs of the projects
- Lead or support research projects on flexibles, rigid pipelines and SPS sub-systems
- Interface with laboratories and/or clients
- Cooperate with technical knowledge to solve field problems
- Develop test procedures and reports
- Be responsible for write materials design rules
- Be responsible for qualification tests of materials used in flexible and/or rigid pipelines
- Conduct technical audits on suppliers used by TPFMC
- Propose process improvements
- Work on SSI (Standardization, Simplification and Industrialization) initiatives
- Availability for travel.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, or Materials Engineer
- Master's degree in metallurgy or materials science and corrosion in CO2 and H2S environments is desirable
- CREA
- Experience with fracture mechanics testing in a corrosive environment, such as corrosion fatigue, SCC tests, etc.
- Experience with flexibles, rigid pipelines or SPS is desirable
- Advanced English
- In addition to the Office package, knowledge of data science, Python and Power BI is desirable.
