About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead production of design/fabrication plans and installation sketches/animations for standard projects and operations
- Ensure design deliverables meet client requirements, project QHSE plans, TechnipFMC processes, and drawing standards
- Supervise, adjust, and consolidate design work within projects
- Contribute to identifying risks associated with design activities
- Work directly on complex design assignments and related activities
- Operationally supervise less experienced designers
- Interface with subsea/surface engineers, project support functions, suppliers, clients’ engineering personnel, and manufacturing/installation operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- AA/AS Degree in ME, EE, Drafting or related field or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years of experience in drafting or related field as a minimum
- Strong knowledge of drafting, design, testing standards and tools
- Project management skills
- Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise diverse cultural team
- Ability to transfer expertise and persuade
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong knowledge of 3D Modelling, CAD, NX 3D Modelling and Drafting Standards, Teamcenter Engineering (TCE), and MS Office software
