About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor publicly available financial releases and announcements from key semiconductor manufacturers and capital equipment companies
Maintain and update the SME Company Analysis and Equipment Analysis spreadsheets
Cross-correlate financial data against SME model results to validate and calibrate models across capacity, capital spending, depreciation, cost, and margin data
Assist the President and Director of SME in maintaining and updating the SME models
Follow key semiconductor manufacturer announcements and financial releases

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of ten years working as an analyst at a financial or market research firm following the semiconductor industry and semiconductor capital equipment industry.
An established network with contacts throughout the semiconductor and equipment industry.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Must be a self-starter capable of seeing complex projects through to completion with minimal supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in business or economics.
Chartered Financial Analyst certification is a plus.
