About the role
- Design innovative packaging solutions that engage consumers and enhance product visibility on shelves.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering, to ensure design viability and brand alignment.
- Adapt existing packaging designs for new product launches while maintaining brand integrity and quality standards.
- Prepare and deliver accurate print-ready artwork, collaborating with external vendors to achieve high-quality production results.
- Stay informed on industry trends, packaging technology, and consumer preferences to continually enhance packaging strategies.
- Maintain effective project management practices to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in packaging design, preferably with experience in consumer electronics or accessories.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Sketch/other design software.
- Strong understanding of print processes and packaging materials, with the capability to produce high-quality, production-ready artwork.
- Excellent color perception, typography, and layout skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of structural design principles and die-line creation for custom packaging solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and working collaboratively across teams.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field is preferred, along with a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work.
