About the role
- You design and implement IT security strategies to ensure sustainable information security across the company
- You analyze and assess security vulnerabilities in systems and applications, derive appropriate measures, and oversee their implementation
- You further develop our security standards within the scope of the existing ISO 27001 certification and ensure their compliance in day-to-day operations
- You monitor networks and systems, detect potential attacks early, and initiate appropriate countermeasures
- You plan and conduct security audits and penetration tests, and derive concrete improvements
- You create incident response and disaster recovery plans, organize security drills, and thereby strengthen our resilience to IT incidents
- You train and raise awareness among employees on IT security topics and promote a lasting security mindset
- You support data protection matters and, ideally, may take on the role of Data Protection Officer in the future
Requirements
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in IT security
- You have solid knowledge of network and application security and experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption technologies
- You have hands-on experience with common security solutions and tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, or Nessus
- You are familiar with maintaining ISO 27001 certifications and ideally have experience implementing data protection regulations (GDPR)
- Ideally, you hold relevant IT security certifications, e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- You communicate confidently in German and English
- You demonstrate analytical, responsible, and solution-oriented thinking
- High motivation, initiative, and a strong passion for technology complete your profile
