About the role

  • Support the operation and further development of container-based platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux)
  • Contribute to observability and reliability through the implementation of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, CheckMK)
  • Assist in building cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Kustomize)
  • Automate operational platform processes using Linux scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Participate in configuring and optimizing modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our cloud-native platform

Requirements

  • Degree in (Business) Computer Science, vocational training as an IT specialist, or a similar technical qualification
  • Good Linux knowledge and basic scripting skills (Bash/Shell; initial experience with Python welcome)
  • Practical experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman
  • Initial experience with a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Basic understanding of cloud-native architectural principles
  • Interest in modern DevOps and platform topics such as Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm), as well as monitoring and logging
  • Team-oriented, clear communicator, reliable and well organized
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (0–max. 20% of working time)
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or Cloud Practitioner are optional
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Residence in Germany with the right to work
