About the role
- Understand the finance team's needs regarding metrics, targets, KPIs, and operational pain points
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports in tools such as Power BI with a focus on clarity, performance, and usability
- Perform consistency checks and validate data received from the data engineer
- Assist the finance team in interpreting data and using the dashboards for decision-making
- Create concise documentation and short training sessions on dashboard usage
- Collaborate with the data engineer to suggest improvements to data views and datasets when necessary
- Ensure that deliveries meet the requesting team's deadlines and expectations.
Requirements
- Previous experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Ability to build interactive, responsive dashboards with a focus on performance
- Basic understanding of data modeling (even if not responsible for ETL)
- Intermediate knowledge of DAX, SQL, or other query languages for use in visualization tools
- Experience with finance-focused indicator projects is a plus (e.g., income statement/P&L, cash flow, aging)
- Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into visual solutions
- Analytical, curious, and proactive mindset
- Organized and able to manage multiple requests
- Comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders.
