- About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Staff Accountant with a positive attitude, analytical mind, and excellent interpersonal skills to support our ever-evolving business in this temporary role. The Senior Staff Accountant will be an integral member of the Accounting team, supporting Tebra’s Finance & Accounting operations in a fast-paced, team-focused environment that provides many challenging opportunities in the development of one’s professional, technical, and analytical skills. Quick studies possessing the ability to understand and apply more complex areas of accounting and a drive to enhance our processes are essential for success in the role.
- Your Area of Focus: Responsible for daily transaction processing, coding and recording including vendor invoices, bank cash coding, and employee expense reports; Maintaining, reconciling, and analyzing the general ledger account activity; Assist in month-end close activities; Contribute to monthly & quarterly fluctuation analysis; Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures; Provide exceptional service cross-functionally; Participate in the financial audit and preparation of required audit support schedules; Assist with U.S. local, state, and federal tax filing; Identify opportunities and propose solutions; Assist with other areas of accounting; Participate in cross training of other roles.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A.) in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years progressive experience in accounting function.
- Experience performing month-end close procedures and preparing deliverables.
- Independent self-starter who is detail oriented and able to identify potential solutions to problems, and work collaboratively with peers and managers to accomplish objectives.
- Confident, self-motivated, and diligent with strong organizational skills to be able to prioritize and execute many assignments in a quick and efficient manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication including the ability to effectively document procedures performed and analysis of results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency required; NetSuite, Coupa, Adaptive, Workday experience preferred but not required.
