About the role

  • Overseeing the full HR accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including HR Operations, Controlling, Legal to support strategic decision-making and financial reporting
  • Become a Global Process Owner for defined IAS 19 and IFRS 2 areas
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations related to HR accounting and/or others
  • Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Take full responsibility for HR Accounting areas and improve processes and our internal control system, including drafting/revision of accounting manuals
  • Take full responsibility for the monthly closing of individual entities or other group accounting related tasks
  • Support and actively participate in accounting related projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics (or equivalent)
  • Very good understanding of general accounting principles
  • IAS 19 and IFRS 2 knowledge and experience
  • Professional certification in accounting or finance preferred (ACCA, CPA, CFA)
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Positive mindset
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Process-driven
  • Technical experience with accounting software
  • Personal responsibility, ability to work independently and against timelines, and enjoying changes and innovations
