About the role
- Manage and coach a team of SDRs to generate new qualified opportunities and pipeline for the sales team
- Work with enablement and training to ensure the team has the right tools and support to be effective
- Lead a highly motivated and high-achieving sales team, including hiring, training and mentoring
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly performance of the SDR team to ensure quotas are being achieved and making quick pivots with sales programs if goals are not being achieved
- Recognize and reward and celebrate success for overachievement
- Review and report on marketing lead volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversions, and sales opportunities generated against each marketing campaign and sales play
- Closely monitor metrics against goals and call out any issues with proactive solutions if issues are identified
- Mentor the BDR team so they see this as a career path into ISR sales or marketing
Requirements
- Experience directly managing a team of SDR/BDR’s (growth-stage experience highly preferred)
- 3-4 years' experience as a quota achieving SDR
- Metrics-driven - driving the team to keep on top of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong executive presence and the ability to maintain confidentiality and business ethics.
- Expert in using CRM and other sales tools/products (Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong...) to drive productivity.
- Proven ability to effectively hire and train new reps.
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales and marketing to successfully drive pipeline targets
