About the role

  • Manage and coach a team of SDRs to generate new qualified opportunities and pipeline for the sales team
  • Work with enablement and training to ensure the team has the right tools and support to be effective
  • Lead a highly motivated and high-achieving sales team, including hiring, training and mentoring
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly performance of the SDR team to ensure quotas are being achieved and making quick pivots with sales programs if goals are not being achieved
  • Recognize and reward and celebrate success for overachievement
  • Review and report on marketing lead volume statistics, lead pipeline, conversions, and sales opportunities generated against each marketing campaign and sales play
  • Closely monitor metrics against goals and call out any issues with proactive solutions if issues are identified
  • Mentor the BDR team so they see this as a career path into ISR sales or marketing

Requirements

  • Experience directly managing a team of SDR/BDR’s (growth-stage experience highly preferred)
  • 3-4 years' experience as a quota achieving SDR
  • Metrics-driven - driving the team to keep on top of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to maintain confidentiality and business ethics.
  • Expert in using CRM and other sales tools/products (Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong...) to drive productivity.
  • Proven ability to effectively hire and train new reps.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with sales and marketing to successfully drive pipeline targets
