About the role
- Design voxel-style visual assets aligned with a Minecraft-like aesthetic.
- Create 2D, 2.5D, and 3D assets using tools such as Blender.
- Design textures, materials, and models suitable for in-game use.
- Ensure visual consistency across environments, objects, and props.
- Export and prepare assets in formats suitable for engine integration.
- Collaborate closely with the Games Developer to align on technical constraints.
- Iterate on assets based on gameplay, performance, or engine feedback.
Requirements
- Strong creative background in 3D design, digital art, or game asset development.
- Proficiency in Blender or similar 3D modeling tools.
- Understanding of core concepts such as textures, materials, UV mapping, and low-poly/voxel design techniques.
- Ability to adapt creative output to technical constraints, such as poly count, memory usage, and performance.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain visual consistency and style cohesion across game assets.
- Strong attention to detail and responsiveness to iterative feedback.
- Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in a remote team environment.
