About the role
- Design, curate, and implement targeted learning and development initiatives for legal professionals across various practice areas.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify legal skill gaps and recommend training programs and development roadmaps.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop upskilling strategies aligned with client requirements and evolving legal market demands.
- Track, evaluate, and report on training program effectiveness and learner progress using relevant metrics.
- Source and collaborate with legal experts or external providers to deliver webinars, workshops, and certification programs.
- Stay updated on trends in legal education, technology, and professional development.
- Contribute to end-to-end recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and interviewing legal professionals.
- Liaise with client success and recruitment teams to ensure aligned hiring processes and talent development strategies.
Requirements
- A law degree is required; a practicing certificate or equivalent legal qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal, legal operations, L&D, or legal recruitment role.
- Proven experience designing or delivering training or professional development programs (especially for legal audiences).
- Exposure to or interest in legal talent acquisition and recruitment operations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—must be able to collaborate across internal teams and with external professionals.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with a proactive mindset.
