About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability within authenticated cloud environments.
Develop and maintain API automation to ensure the integrity of backend services and integrations.
Collaborate with software engineers to identify, investigate, and resolve defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews to embed quality throughout the development process.
Perform root cause analysis on defects and provide clear documentation and reporting.
Continuously improve test automation coverage, testing processes, and quality standards.
Promote best practices in quality assurance and test automation across the engineering team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years' experience in QA Automation Engineering.
Extensive hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong understanding of testing applications in authenticated cloud environments.
Demonstrated experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, automation best practices, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience working within Agile software development teams.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience with Django.
Proficiency in SQL for database validation and data integrity testing.
Experience using Postman for API testing and validation.
Hands-on experience with Python.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Experience testing financial technology, payments, banking, accounting, or other systems where security, accuracy, and reliability are critical.
