About the role

  • Discovery & Problem Framing
  • Conduct workshops, interviews and research to understand customer and internal needs
  • Support solution validation, user testing and options evaluation, through structured analysis and documentation
  • Provide product and domain expertise to support decision making
  • Work with Solution Architects and Tech Leads on technical feasibility
  • Collaborate with Product Managers on the breakdown of initiatives into epics and translating product vision into detailed actionable requirements
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Break complex workflows down into clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria that consider dependencies and edge cases
  • Challenge assumptions and validate requirements against customer pain points, business goals and technical feasibility
  • Ensure stories are aligned to outcomes with clear traceability to strategic initiatives
  • Create and maintain clear, concise documentation including user stories, use cases, business rules and process diagrams
  • Process Mapping & Workflow Design
  • Model current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) states of workflows and business processes
  • Identify inefficiencies, edge cases and opportunities for uplift
  • Interrogate systems and apply data analysis to validate assumptions and identify patterns
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Engage proactively with Customer Success, Product, Design, Solution Architecture, Delivery and QA teams
  • Ensure stakeholders – from Engineers to Customer Success – have a shared understanding of scope and intent
  • Participate in backlog grooming, refinement sessions, sprint planning and reviews
  • Work closely with developers and testers through sprints to clarify requirements and remove blockers
  • Support UAT by confirming the solution meets the original business requirements
  • Data Analysis
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers and Solution Architects to understand what data is needed and why
  • Go beyond reporting – identify what data means, not just what it shows
  • Tell the story behind the data to highlight risks, opportunities, and areas of improvement
  • Partner with Designers to understand the “why” behind user issues, combining quantitative and qualitative insights
  • Provide data to validate assumptions or challenge them during discovery or ideation
  • Customer-Centric Thinking
  • Incorporate customer feedback and business metrics into story development
  • Build a deep understanding of the client’s platform and workflows and customer pain points in the property management domain
  • Link technical decisions to measurable customer outcomes
  • Bring the voice of the customer into every decision by linking requirements to customer pain points, goals and outcomes
