About the role

  • Develop and own revenue strategy aligned with company goals, while executing against the executive team's strategic priorities.
  • Translate executive-level revenue objectives into clear, actionable plans for Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Set clear revenue targets, operating plans, and success metrics across sales, marketing, and the vendor marketplace.
  • Lead execution of revenue initiatives, ensuring strategies move from planning to measurable results.
  • Build and operate the systems, processes, and execution cadence that drive predictable revenue growth.
  • Partner with the Managing Director to refine revenue strategy and adjust based on performance and market signals, with input and direction from the C-Suite.
  • Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and inefficiencies across the revenue funnel and drive solutions.
  • Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and operating rhythms for revenue teams.
  • Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts, messaging, and priorities.
  • Bring forward data-driven insights, recommendations, and trade-offs to leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable the Sales Manager and Marketing Manager for revenue performance and execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years experience in B2B growth, marketplaces, or SaaS sales/marketing in a startup or small, growing company.
  • Successfully scaled two-sided marketplaces or partner platforms.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing managers.
  • Clear, practical understanding of revenue operations, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Comfortable operating in a remote environment, with strong written communication skills and flexibility working across synchronous and asynchronous communication.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Available to work with team members across a range of time-zones, with a primary focus on U.S. Time Zones.
  • Regular and reliable access to high speed internet and a stable work environment.
