About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and manage US employee benefits programs
- Manage 401(k) plan administration
- Serve as the primary owner of the TriNet PEO relationship
- Own the EOR relationship for Canadian employees
- Maintain and administer SAP SuccessFactors
- Provide expert guidance on complex US and Canadian employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with California-specific requirements
- Maintain and update North America HR policies
- Oversee US employment contracts and onboarding logistics
- Advise leaders on workforce planning and budget alignment
- Lead organizational design initiatives
- Drive talent management initiatives
- Provide regular people data and insights
- Lead rollout of global engagement surveys
- Deliver culture-building programs
- Partner with global DEI initiatives
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition function
- Coordinate comprehensive onboarding experiences
- Coach and mentor managers across your portfolio
- Guide teams through organizational changes
- Liaise with the facility team to ensure the LA workplace is safe and compliant
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of HR or People & Culture experience
- At least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Deep expertise in US benefits administration
- Hands-on experience with TriNet or a comparable PEO platform
- Experience managing or overseeing an Employer of Record (EOR) relationship
- Strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HRIS platforms
- Strong knowledge of California and federal US employment law
- Experience handling complex employee relations matters
- Experience supporting workforce planning and organizational design
- Track record of delivering employee engagement programs
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
