About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic direction and mentorship to multidisciplinary mining teams
Lead by example in mine-site health, safety, and environmental performance
Ensure all mining project activities are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and operational requirements
Oversee project execution across all phases—including planning, mobilization, operations support, and project close-out
Coordinate closely with client operations, engineering, and maintenance groups
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Monitor budgets, forecasting, billing, and reporting
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, consultants, and site stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 8 years of experience managing mining, industrial, or heavy-resource sector projects
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Strong understanding of project documentation, cost controls, contracts, and overall project delivery frameworks
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in dynamic, fast-paced project environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical and complex information to a range of stakeholders
