Work with subject matter experts and instructors to design and develop lesson plans, student guides, quizzes, and other elements of scenario-based and performance-based instructor-led and web-based training under the guidance of a Sr. ISD.
Demonstrate knowledge of law enforcement and leadership training principles and assist the Senior ISD in fostering design innovation in training these areas.
Update and maintain course content for instructor-led and web-based courses.
Collaborate with an instructional design team (instructional designers, graphic artists, SMEs, instructors) and project and program managers to design responsive training and/or performance support solutions and schedules.
Apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation to determine how to accomplish tasks.
Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Requirements
Willingness to undergo a background investigation and/or obtain a security clearance.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION AND/OR OBTAINING A SECURITY CLEARANCE.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, Training or Instructional Design
Minimum two (2) years experience as an Instructional Systems Designer.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
Extensive knowledge with BIETP FLETA reaccreditation and initial accreditation of other ERO Academy programs. (Preferred)
Instructional Systems Design Certification preferred but not required.
