About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for all HR matters at maxcluster in Paderborn and serve as the HR interface to Hypernode in Arnhem
Lead and develop your two direct reports in Germany
Responsible for the apprenticeship/trainee program
Manage operational HR tasks: contracts, payroll, absence management and compliance with employment law requirements
Act as HR Business Partner for managers at both locations
Serve as a strategic sparring partner to executive management and the leadership team
Actively lead and support change initiatives
Build and further develop HR processes and structures
Responsible for Compensation & Benefits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification
Proven experience in operational and strategic HR, ideally from a mid-sized company
Good knowledge of German employment law; knowledge of Dutch employment law is an advantage
Leadership experience
Experienced with change management
Fluent in German and English; Dutch language skills are a real plus
On-site in Paderborn at least twice a week and willing to travel regularly to Arnhem in the Netherlands
