About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set vision, strategy, and plan for cultivating a portfolio of donors
  • Manage, cultivate, steward, and solicit a portfolio of donors
  • Work in close partnership with the local Executive Director to build relationships necessary to advance fundraising efforts
  • Maintain donor, prospect, and fundraising activity information in our CRM system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 7+ years of related experience in development and fundraising context
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious goals as a donor portfolio manager
  • Highly skilled relationship builder, particularly with external prospects and donors
  • Specialize in best practices of development and fundraising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in stewarding a diverse portfolio of donors/funders from various funding streams
