About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • All prospect & donor management roles responsible for cultivating, soliciting, stewarding, and managing a portfolio of donors across Ohio
  • Partner with the Executive Director and other fundraisers to maximize giving
  • Build a comprehensive development plan for high potential donors
  • Manage, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of donors
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to develop strategies and maintain relationships in the public and private sphere
  • Manage a team of development staff members and track fundraising activity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 10+ years of related experience in highly complex development and fundraising context
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious goals as a donor portfolio manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred: Fundraising experience in Ohio
  • Preferred: Knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in Ohio communities: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton
